Governance

The structure of the SWERA represents a democratic & participatory approach at all levels of management and administration right from the policy formulation body to the implementation personnel (managerial staff). The structure includes a Board of Directors and Board of Advisors and a team of managerial staff with specified terms of reference.

 

Board of Directors

A Board of Directors, comprising 7 distinguished people in their respective fields, governs SWERA, dedicated to the cause of mobilizing material and intellectual resources for the development and progress of SWERA especially in the areas of active interest.

 

Board of Advisors

A new structure has been developed to attract intellectual input of eminent experts from different fields including business, academia and social sector. Organization of BOA is currently underway; BOA will provide high level orientation on policy issues for the future program development. The Board of Advisors will consist of at least 10-15 distinguished personalities of the country.

 

Management Staff

To turn leadership’s vision into actions, SWERA has a small dedicated team of professionals at Program Support Office level comprising:

Project Based Staff

SWERA hires a dedicated team of professionals as per requirement of the project to oversee its operations and day to day activities to achieve project's goals and desired objectives.

 

Volunteers

SWERA also recruits and trains a team of volunteers & interns for its different projects to bring spirit of volunteerism into SWERA's work by promoting values of community cohesion, public service and sense of belonging.
